Ten-year-old Curtis Powell, from Truro, has been chosen to feature as the "young Wilfred" in a TV commercial being directed by Hollywood legend, Tony Kaye, for The Black Farmer.
The shoot took place on The Black Farmer’s Devon farm and Curtis, who attends Cornwall Theatre School,
was able to put his acting skills to the test. “Curtis was a real star," said Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones, aka The Black Farmer.
"He was cool and calm despite all the excitement of being on set, and did a great job of portraying me as a young boy tending my father’s allotment. This is our first ever TV commercial for the Black Farmer brand and to have secured Tony Kaye to direct it is a real coup. So Curtis has kicked off his acting career in style.”
