Colleagues from Bishop Fleming Chartered Accountants in Truro are getting their bikes at the ready for the Tour of Bishop Fleming in a couple of week’s time.

Starting in Truro the tour will visit Bishop Fleming offices in Plymouth, Torquay, Exeter, Bristol, Bath ending at their offices in Worcester.

Each Bishop Fleming office has chosen a local charity to support and the Truro office has chosen children’s charity Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) that supports life limited children and their families through their Little Harbour hospice in St Austell.

The tour will start from the Truro office on Tuesday 8th September and colleagues from Bishop Flemings seven offices will be cycling throughout the week ending in Worcestor on Friday 11th September, in total the tour will cover 325 miles.

As a company they have already exceeded their fundraising target of £15,000 which is to be split between local charities, currently on £15,329 but are still keen to push for more donations to help their motivation through the cycle. CHSW will already benefit from over £2,700 but the more donations they can get the better.

Sarah Stott, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser for CHSW said “We are absolutely delighted that CHSW has been chosen as one of the beneficiaries of the Tour of Bishop Fleming. I wish all the cyclists good luck and thank everyone who has made a donation to CHSW, we provide a lifeline for families at times of uncertainty and donations like this really will make a difference to the care and support that we can offer.”

Commenting on the challenge, Natercia Hughes, a charities manager at Bishop Fleming said, “We certainly have a big challenge to tackle, but we are very keen to raise as much as we can for Children’s Hospice South West and that will spur us on. People can donate at Just Giving by searching for Tour of BF.”
