Ten firefighters from Truro were sent to a suspected bakery oven fire in River Street on Saturday morning.
Two crews were called at around 8am to the two storey commercial premises, and isolated the gas and electricity before investigating using a thermal imaging camera.
They used two breathing apparatus and a CO2 extinguisher to put out the fire, before continuing to cut away and investigate.
A fire service spokesperson said: "This fire was accidental and confined."
