Truro High School for Girls is offering a Twilight Taster session for prospective pupils wishing to get a feel of what life is like in the senior school.

Girls who are currently in years five and six at primary schools around the county are invited to take part in the session which runs from 4pm to 6pm on Thursday, February 4. The idea is to give those girls interested in joining Truro High, a fun sample of what they can expect from the school that ranks highest in the county for GCSE results and is renowned for outstanding pastoral care.

Those taking part will be sampling science, getting hands on in the food room and learning Latin with the headmaster. Parents will get a chance to meet Dr Moodie themselves over a drink and canapé at 5.30pm.

Deputy head, Marcia Smith, said: “It is a great chance for girls to come and experience the school first hand and to meet the Truro High girls who might soon be their new classmates.”
