Trading in Truro ended in drama at the weekend when firefighters rushed to put out a fire in one of the city centre shops.
Two fire engines from Truro and a third from St Austell were sent out at 5pm on Saturday to deal with the incident in a shop in Pydar Street.
A fire involving a cleaning cupboard and a toilet was discovered, and the crews wore breathing equipment as they put out the flames with a hosereel.
