A second performance from Eden Sessions headliner Jess Glynne has had to be moved just 24 hours after it was announced.

The Eden Project said that "due to unforeseen circumstances" the concert planned for Sunday, June 5 will now take place on Wednesday, June 22.

Any Inside Track pass holders, who get first pick at the Sessions dates, that have already bought tickets for the June 5 concert can transfer them to the June 22 Session or arrange a refund by contacting the Eden box office on boxoffice@edenproject.com.

Tickets for the newly-arranged Wednesday, June 22 Jess Glynne Eden Session cost £40 plus £5 booking fee and will go on sale to Inside Track pass holders from this Monday at 4pm, until Thursday, May 19 at 2pm.

They will then go on general release to the rest of the public on Thursday, May 19 at 4pm at www.edensessions.com.

This is the second date that the star is set to perform at Eden and the previously announced concert on Thursday, July 14, which is already sold out, is not affected.

Rita Broe, Eden's marketing director, said: "Jess Glynne is one of the hottest properties in music right now.

“We had huge demand for her first show and this is a great opportunity for those who weren't able to get tickets.”

London-born chart-topper Jess, who counts Amy Winehouse, Beyoncé, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston among her biggest influences, reached the top ten in 2014 with debut solo single Right Here.

She was a featured artist on Clean Bandit's single Rather Be and Route 94's My Love, both of which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in 2014.

Jess became the second British female solo artist to have five number-one singles in the UK, following her solo releases Hold My Hand and Don't Be So Hard on Yourself and her feature on Tinie Tempah's Not Letting Go.

Her debut album, I Cry When I Laugh, was released in 2015 and reached number one on the UK Albums Chart.

She was nominated for three BRIT Awards - Breakthrough Act, British Female Solo Artist and British Single of the Year for her single Hold My Hand – and performed live at the show earlier this year.

This year's Eden Sessions include Lionel Richie with Corrine Bailey Rae (both dates sold out), Tom Jones (sold out), PJ Harvey and Manic Street Preachers.
