Commenting on the visit Sarah Newton MP:

"Enabling children and young people to have the best possible start in life and a great education is a top priority to improve life chances for my constituents. I am impressed by the work of Chris Gould and the team at the College to help young people to get to grips with maths.

“I really struggled with maths at school and Chris's innovative approaches, drawing on the experience of maths teaching around the world is inspiring. Maths, science and technology are increasingly important subjects for young people to study. Not only are they really interesting subjects but help prepare young people for the well paid, interesting employment opportunities in growing industries in Cornwall and the rest of the U.K. "
