For the second time this year, the Cornwall Bowel Cancer Support Group have raised money for the Hope For Tomorrow mobile chemotherapy units.
Clem Rubinstein travelled down from Gloucestershire to Probus to accept the £1,000 cheque from the group, which was started and is managed by Candy Coombe and Clare Ferris, colorectal nurse specialists.
"The Cornwall support group are there to offer support and friendship for anyone who is touched by bowel cancer," said publicity officer, Wendy Wilson, who is also a bowel cancer patient. Check out their website, cornwall-bowel-cancer-support-group.co.uk/ for more information on the group.
