Churchill Retirement Living is inviting people in Truro to join them for coffee and cake at its Tregolls Lodge development to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The event, which is part of the charity’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning campaign, takes place on Friday, September 30, from 11am at the development on St Clements Hill. Visitors will be treated to coffee, cakes and biscuits in the owners’ lounge, and Churchill Retirement Living will donate £5 to Macmillan for every visitor who attends.

Caroline Haswell, regional marketing manager at Churchill Retirement Living, said: “We are delighted to be involved in Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning once again and are looking forward to welcoming as many locals as possible to the Lodge. These events are a fantastic way to raise money for a very worthy cause, and we have set an ambitious fundraising target of £30,000 for Macmillan this year."
