A woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash near Truro on Wednesday afternoon (5/6).

Police and ambulance were called to the scene of the two car collision on the A3075 just after 12.30pm.

A police spokesperson said: "A female passenger sustained serious injuries and was taken to Treliske Hospital where she is now in a stable condition.

"The Perranporth Road was closed and reopened again at around 4pm. Diversions were put in place and motorists were advised to avoid the area."
