Emergency services have recovered a body from Perranporth beach this morning.
St Agnes Coastguard team, along with the rescue helicopter, air ambulance, lifeboat and police, were all sent to the beach at around 8.45am, and all on scene within minutes.
A coastguard spokesperson said: "Sadly the casualty was not able to be resuscitated and was pronounced dead at the scene."
They added that lifeboat, helicopter and foot patrols searched the area for any other casualty before departing.
