A MAN had to be rescued this morning after becoming trapped between his car and a bridge wall had to be rescued near St Erme, Truro.

Seventeen firefighters on two appliances from Truro and Perranporth and the Rescue Tender from Tolvaddon were called to the incident where a male had become trapped between a car and a bridge wall. Firefighters used crash rescue equipment to release the male from being pinned by the car. Once free the casualty was left in the care of ambulance crew.
