The Royal Cornwall Hospital and Cornwall's NHS has escaped a cyber attack which has crippled hospitals and GPs further north this afternoon.
AQccording to reports, IT systems have failed in London, Blackburn, Nottingham, Cumbria and Hertfordshire, with the problems believed to be the work of a cyber attack.
The Packet has contacted the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust and asked whether it had been hit by the system failure, and a spokesperson replied: "Not here."
NHS England said it was aware of the issue and is looking into it.
