A man from Newquay remains in a critical condition in hospital following an assault in the town in the early hours of Monday.
Detectives from Newquay CID are appealing for witnesses in relation to the serious assault, which happened on Beach Road.
Police were notified around 4.40am to an incident which happened at the junction at Beach Road and Gover Lane.
The victim, a 32-year-old from Newquay, was allegedly assaulted by an unknown offender or offenders, causing serious head injuries.
A police spokesperson said: "Three 19-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of GBH and released under investigation whilst enquiries continue."
Officers have urged anyone with information to come forward and make contact with DC Steve Applewhite quoting Crime ref no CR/041857/17.
