- It’s that time again as the nation goes to the polls for the third time – if you count the pesky Brexit referendum – in as many years.
- Campaigning has been quick since Theresa May decided last month she did want a snap election after all, with the Tories running on a platform of ‘strong and stable’ leadership, Labour pledging to reverse seven years of cuts and austerity, and the Lib Dems holding out an offer of a second Brexit referendum and legalised cannabis.
- This election has also seen the resurgence of tactical voting, as the Greens try and push forward a progressive alliance while many voters consider who would be best placed to defeat the Tories in their constituency.
