People who feel they may have a calling from God to serve in their communities are being invited to an event at Truro Cathedral on Saturday, July 8.
Representatives of the Diocese of Truro will be there to share their experiences and talk to people who believe they may have an unfulfilled vocation. These might include ordination, but also many lay ministries such as leading worship and pastoral visiting.
Members of the diocese education department will also be there to talk about different vocational possibilities in schools. The Bishop of St Germans, the Rt Rev Dr Chris Goldsmith, and other panel members will speak on the day, and be there to answer questions. People who are already following their vocational paths will share their stories.
Vocations Day will be held between 10am and 3pm. Anybody is welcome to go along for the whole day or to drop in at any time.
