Truro Cathedral will be hosting another free family fun day next Thursday, August 17. Over the last few years the cathedral has held the event day indoors to avoid the weather, which has proved very popular with both visiting and local families.
The Mothers’ Union, who organise the event, also enjoyed it so much that they are staying indoors for this year’s one which will run from 10am until 3pm.
Children and families can expect a busy time as free activities will include a bouncy castle, fishing for ducks, brass rubbing, children’s craft activities, giant Jenga, Connect 4, floor draughts, dressing up and dress parade, story telling, ten-penny tombola, various children’s trails, snakes and ladders, Splat that Rat, MU cake stall and garden games. Refreshments will also be available.
