The main commuter road through Penryn has reopened after being closed for more than 14 hours, in the wake of a massive fire.
Commercial Road was closed to traffic until just after 2pm today, following a blaze that destroyed Christies Furniture Store.
Fire crews rushed to the scene just before midnight, after Truro's fire control room received over 60 emergency 999 calls from members of the public.
At one point around 80 fire fighters from across the county battled the blaze.
