MULLION METHODIST MONDAY CLUB: Lengthening evening light allowed the club a look around Penryn's antiquities and developments under the guidance of local historian Chas Wenmoth. Several visitors and friends joined regular members on a walk from the Town Hall to the river frontage with history in every building and many details it might be easy to miss without such expert guidance.

MULLION METHODIST MONDAY CLUB: Monday Club began February with another successful fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support. Coffee and stalls selling books, bric-a-brac and homebakes raised over £160, bringing the current total to over £1,000 accrued since September.

MULLION: METHODIST CHURCH: The Methodist church enjoyed a wonderful Christmas of music, events and services against the beautiful backdrop of the third Christmas tree festival. Twenty-six local groups and associations took part this year and raised £200 for the improvement fund. The competition to identify the various countries in "Christmas round the world" attracted nearly 40 entries and was won by Mrs Angela Wood.

MULLION: METHODIST MONDAY CLUB: November proved busy as ever for Mullion Methodist Monday Club. Apart from running the homebakes stall at the Methodist Feast Bazaar, members were involved in other aspects of the three-day event, already covered earlier.
