MULLION: WOMEN'S INSTITUTE: The institute held its annual meeting on Friday.
After normal business had finished, the outgoing president, Mrs Peggy Lewis, welcomed Mrs Jane Mills, one of the Women's Institute county advisors, who took over the rest of the meeting for the election of the new president, Miss Margaret Tomlinson, and the new committee.
Forthcoming events include a spring coffee morning next Friday, February 22, the Mullion WI spring show on Saturday, March 8 and an Easter bazaar on Friday, March 14.
