TREWENNACK

TREWENNACK METHODIST CHURCH: Sunday Morning Communion service was conducted by the Rev Sylvia and followed the journey to Emmaus.

The Rev Sylvia spoke about how we can meet Jesus through offering hospitality to a stranger. To illustrate the point a starter of cheese and biscuits was shared and the congregation shared the happenings of the week with each other.

A dramatised version of the Emmaus story from Luke chapter 24 was read by Anne Pascoe, Alex Haworth, Chris Smith and David Freeman.

Val Thorne was the pianist and Mark Rapson led the community singing before the service. Members of the Junior Church joined others from the circuit at Trinity for an Inspir8 session.
