TREWENNACK
TREWENNACK METHODIST CHURCH: Sunday Morning Communion service was conducted by the Rev Sylvia and followed the journey to Emmaus.
The Rev Sylvia spoke about how we can meet Jesus through offering hospitality to a stranger. To illustrate the point a starter of cheese and biscuits was shared and the congregation shared the happenings of the week with each other.
A dramatised version of the Emmaus story from Luke chapter 24 was read by Anne Pascoe, Alex Haworth, Chris Smith and David Freeman.
Val Thorne was the pianist and Mark Rapson led the community singing before the service. Members of the Junior Church joined others from the circuit at Trinity for an Inspir8 session.
WENDRON
ST WENDRONA CHURCH: The rector, Canon David Miller, was the celebrant and preacher at the holy communion service at the parish church on Sunday morning.
The epistle and Gospel were read by Canon Miller. The communion elements were presented by Mary Cowley and Vee Green. The sidesman was Netta Treloar. Anne Veneear was the organist.
During the service, baby Connor Lee Collins was baptised.
On Sunday, April 20, there will be a service of holy communion at 10.30am.

The full regatta programme for the Funchal 500 Tall Ships Regatta has been finalised.
