Police investigating the death of a man at Godrevy Point are keen to trace a male cyclist who may have seen him on the day he died.
Officers would like to speak to the cyclist who reported seeing a man acting suspiciously at the top of the cliffs on Wednesday, July 2.
Police believe the man the cyclist saw was the deceased man, who has not yet been formally identified.
The cyclist, who was wearing an orange top, reported his concerns to the National Trust kiosk who contacted the police.
A man’s body was located at the bottom of cliffs in the Godrevy area on Friday, July 4.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Police are appealing for the cyclist to get in touch as a witness, by calling 101 quoting log 948 of 3 July.
