A flood alert is in place for low lying areas on Cornwall's north and south coasts.
The alert, due to very high tides, are in place for Land's End to Plymouth including Mounts Bay, Porthleven, Fowey, Looe and Plymouth, and from Lands End to Hartland Point including St Ives Bay, Perranporth, Padstow and Bude.
An Environment Agency alert says: "High spring tides will lead to high water levels on the coast through to Wednesday (13/08/2014) evenings high tide, which may cause flooding of exposed seafronts.
"We will continue to monitor the situation and issue updates to this information daily.
"The highest water levels can be expected on Tuesday evening at the peak of the spring tides."
