UPDATE: An 80-year-old woman who went missing from St Ives has been found safe and well after a search involving police, coastguard and Cornwall Search & Rescue says Falmouth Coastguard.

 

Police are urgently trying to locate an 80-year-old woman who has gone missing from St Ives.

Helen Clarke went missing at around 7pm on Sunday 7 September from a property in the Towednack area of the town.

She was visiting a family member at the time and her family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

Police are urging residents to check any outbuildings in case she has inadvertently made her way in there.

Helen is described as white, around 5ft 4ins, of small build with white collar-length hair and is believed to be wearing a green jumper and grey trousers. She is most likely to be on foot.

Anyone who sees her or knows of her whereabouts is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference 824 of 7 September.
