Occupants of a house at Gulval, near Penzance, had to be checked by paramedics when they felt unwell after a carbon monoxide alarm sounded.
Fire and ambulance services were called just after 10am on Friday after the alarm went off at the property in Higher Trevaylor, and the occupants were advised to leave immediately.
A fire service spokesperson said: "Two firefighers wearing breathing apparatus entered the home and using a gas monitor found there to be a zero reading for carbon monoxide."
