Police in Penzance are appealing for information following a hit and run road traffic collision, and have released CCTV images of a suspect vehicle.
The collision occurred at around 2.00am on Sunday, October 12 at the junction of Market Jew Street and Albert Road, Penzance.
During the incident a pedestrian was struck by a car causing him to go over the bonnet and fall to the floor.
Following the collision the vehicle carried on and was driven left by the Longboat Public House.
CCTV images show the vehicle, suspected to be a BMW 3 series being driven following the collision.
The casualty a local man received cuts and bruises, and received hospital treatment but fortunately was not seriously injured.
The area was busy at the time with night time revellers and police would like to hear from anyone who either witnessed the collision or has any information as to the identity of the driver.
