Firefighters from St Ives were called to a basement fire at a property under construction in Halsetown on Saturday afternoon.
Two appliances from St Ives and one from Penzance were called just after 3.20pm to the blaze at a three storey domestic property under construction , and found the fire in a basement consumer unit.
A fire service spokesperson said: "The crews used four sets of breathing apparatus, two hosereel jets, two dry powder extinguishers and a thermal image camera to put out the fire and make the property safe."
