Google’s annual search statistics have revealed Cornwall as the fifth most searched-for holiday destination of 2014.
Described as a snapshot of Britain’s interests in 2014, Google’s ‘Year of Search’ ranks Cornwall alongside the respective chart leaders, Paris and New York, and above the likes of Italy and Dubai, making it the only UK destination in the top ten.
“To be ranked fifth alongside such impressive world-wide destinations demonstrates the immense power of the Cornwall brand and highlights Cornwall’s position as a leading holiday destination,” said Malcolm Bell, head of Visit Cornwall.
