The Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Danny Alexander MP, is visiting West Cornwall this morning to review Government support for infrastructure necessary for economic regeneration in the area.
West Cornwall's MP, Andrew George, will discuss detail of the recently announced Government funding for a Penzance offshore breakwater study, and "press the case he has made for Government support to improve the resilience of the transport links between the mainland and the Isles of Scilly".
Andrew George is working with a group of stakeholders, led by AgustaWestland, towards the reinstatement of the helicopter service which closed just over two years ago.
