Three men have been airlifted to hospital after suffering acid burns on a tanker off West Cornwall.
The vessel carrying chemicals was enroute to Hamburg in Germany and was forced to shelter in Mount's Bay to allow the airlift, due to the gale force winds and heavy swell.
The men are reported to have suffered burns from a corrosive substance on board, reported to be concentrated nitric acid.
