With tens of thousands of people expected to make the trek to Cornwall for the Easter break and locals out and about it looks like a weekend of two halves, weather-wise
While there will be a fairly wet start on Friday the forecast is for drier conditions during the morning.
It will stay rather cloudy through the day but there could be the odd sunny spell in the afternoon with a maximum temperature of 13C.
The outlook for Saturday to Monday is much brighter with the rest of the Easter weekend mainly dry. There will still be quite a lot of cloud around, owever, with light winds and sunny spells it should feel a little milder than of late.
For those making the trip to go surfing there should be plenty of waves to enjoy, with a small but punchy swell on the main north coast beaches, groomed by light offshore winds from Saturday on.
