RNLI volunteers in St Ives rescued a woman whose inflatable dinghy had been blown away from the shore by the wind.
The St Ives inshore lifeboat was launched at around 3.40pm on Tuesday to help the woman, who was calling for help.
She had been dragged approximately 50m off Porthgwidden beach by a fresh offshore wind.
An RNLI spokesperson said: "George Deacon at the helm of the inshore lifeboat made their way quickly to the scene, where crew David Holland-Kemp and Nick Phillips helped the woman into the inshore lifeboat and then took her and the dinghy back to the beach before returning to the lifeboat station."
