Social housing company DCH is joining forces with a furniture reuse project in West Cornwall to support people in need of help to furnish their homes.
DCH has said it's team is delighted to be working with Penzance based GOFA to provide affordable furniture to their residents in the area.
GOFA is a charity which provides donated furniture and household electrical goods at affordable prices, and DCH said it is invaluable to people who need support in furnishing their new homes, particularly when moving into their own home for the first time.
DCH have provided GOFA with a donation of £500, and will be working in close partnership with the charity to support their residents in furnishing their homes. As part of the partnership, DCH are already promoting this brilliant service to their
residents.
Paul Duffy, DCH head of neighbourhoods, said: “DCH is pleased to be able to support and sponsor the valuable work of GOFA and its volunteers. They provide a much needed affordable furniture service to residents in West Cornwall.”
Graeme Stevens of GOFA said: “We really appreciate DCH’s donation. Their support helps us to continue helping people furnish their homes and build positive futures, which is really valued in the Penwith area. Thank you to DCH”.
