Arson is suspected after a vehicle fire totally destroyed two motorbikes in St Ives on Saturday morning.
Two fire engines from St Ives Fire Station were sent to Park Avenue just before 6am following several calls from the public, and arrived to find a motorbike well alight and the flames had spread to a van.
The crew wore breathing apparatus and used two hosereels to extinguish the fire.
A fire service spokesperson said: "On further inspection after the fire was extinguished it revealed that two motorbikes had been totally destroyed by fire and had spread to a parked van.
"Arson is the suspected cause and police were also on scene and the incident was left in their hands."
