A baseball bat of sentimental value was among items stolen by thieves during a burglary in Penzance on the weekend of June 26.
Police are appealing for information relating to the burglary, from a domestic property in Alexandra Road, which happened sometime between 5pm on Sunday, June 26, and 6am on Monday, June 27.
Officers said the house was entered through a bedroom window and a number of expensive handbags and a baseball bat of sentimental value purchased in America were taken, along with a set of keys.
Two Michael Kors branded handbags were stolen, and also a Prada and a Mulberry handbag with an overall value of approximately £6,000.
A force spokesperson said: "Police are keen to hear from anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area on Sunday evening and overnight into Monday morning, and also from anyone who has been offered a designer handbag for sale and is uncertain where it came from."
