The A30 near Hayle has reopened but traffic is still slow following a lunchtime crash at the Loggans Roundabout.

Police were called just before 12.20pm to reports of a single vehicle collision on the A30.

A police spokesperson said: "A mini cooper was reportedly involved in a single car collision and the vehicle was smoking. Due to this, fire services were called.

"Ambulance was also called and a man was taken to hospital with various aches and pains and possible shock."

The road was closed in both directions, although traffic is now moving again.
