Two PCSOs from Falmouth will be cycling from John O’ Groats to Lands End to raise £5000 for charity.
Sean McDonnell, 43, and Lewis Vague, 24, will cycle more than 950 miles from Scotland to Cornwall in aid of The Cardiomyopathy Association- a charity that helps people affected by heart muscle conditions.
The pair will set out in early June and cycle for nine days, supported by a friend who will be driving alongside them.
They aim to be back in Cornwall just over a week later, and will be met in Lands End by family and friends.
Sean, whose brother died from cardiomyopathy, said: “We’ve been in training for the last six months going for bike rides and other distance exercises.
“We’ve heard that both ends of the ride are very difficult but we know that Cornwall is our home stretch, we’ll have a good welcome and then we can get home to bed.”
