Easbourne Borough 1
Rowe
Truro City 0
Truro City sank to another away defeat on Saturday, this time at the hands of Eastbourne Borough at Priory Lane.
Borough captain Ollie Rowe scored the only goal of the game when he rose unmarked in the box to nod in a free kick.
And a single goal was enough to put paid to any hopes City had of making the trip back from Sussex with a share of the points.
For all the visitor’s efforts they couldn’t find an equaliser, despite having the lion’s share of the possession and several opportunities to get back on level terms.
Truro remain rooted to the bottom of the Blue Square Bet Conference South, twelve points from safety.
The White Tigers travel to Eastleigh on Tuesday night.
City: McCormick; Hopkinson, Hodges, Ash, Williams; Cooke, Martin, Broad, Afful; Watkins, Moore. Subs (not used): Hall, Carne.
