TRURO CITY 2
Martin, Moore
TONBRIDGE ANGELS 0
Goals from Marcus Martin and Kieffer Morre were enough for Truro City to secure a vital win against Tonbridge Angels at Treyew Road on Saturday.
City were desperate for a result after winning only one of their last five games, and Lee Hodges' side duly obliged with an excellent display.
Veteran midfielder Marcus Martin openined the scoring mid-way through the second half.
But it fell to striker Kieffer Moore to secure the points for City minutes before the final whistle, and hand Truro what is a morale-boosting win.
City host high-flying Dover Athletic at Treyew Road on Tuesday night after the game was rescheduled due to a waterlogged pitch last weekend.
