Penryn Athletic crashed out of the Throgmorton Cup after defeat away at Exmouth on Saturday.
The Devon club scored two goals without reply to book a place in the next round, and ensure an unhappy journey back to Cornwall for Steve Jewell and Dale Band's Penryn side.
Meanwhile high-flying Helston Atheltic were held to an unlikely 3-3 draw by league new-boys Sticker at Burngullow Park.
The Blues went three up before Sticker staged a dramatic fightback to claim a share of the points.
As a result Helston lose ground on table-topping Godolphin, and are level on points with Wadebridge having played a game more. The Bridgers ran out 4-0 winners away at Perranporth.
Elsewhere Dennis Annear's Porthleven registered at commendable 2-2 draw away at fourth-placed Callington Town to leave them eleventh in the league, four points clear of twelfth-placed Vospers Oak Villa.
Other results in the Peninsula League division one west were as follows:
Dobwalls 3 - 3 Hayle
Holsworthy 1 - 5 St Dennis
Vospers Oak Villa 6 - 0 Mousehole
