Redruth moved up to third in National League Two South after a comprehensive 37-11 victory against Clifton at The Recreation Ground on Saturday.
The Reds led 7-3 at half time thanks to a try from the in-form Tom Duncan, converted by Ashley Hosking.
After the break Redruth came out firing and pressed hard for another score, but a stubborn Clifton rearguard kept the Reds at bay - albeit temporarily.
Eventually Clifton's resistance was broken when Tom Notman shrugged off a brace of ineffective tackles to touch down and put the Reds 12-3 up. Hosking missed the conversion.
But Hosking was on target minutes later when Luke Collins was adjudged to have been fouled and a penalty was awarded.
Richard Brown went over for the Reds to put the homeside firmly in control, before tries from Darren Jacques, Richard Brown, Frazer Kellythorn and a superb effort from Luke Collins put the game out of sight.
The result puts Redruth in a strong position ahead of next week's Cornish derby against Launceston. The Cornish All Blacks lost 28-12 away at Worthing on Saturday.
