A full list of rescheduled Peninsula League games has been released by the league, and sees many of  the matches cancelled over the festive period moved to April, and in some cases May.

In the Peninsula League premier division, Falmouth Town’s Boxing Day clash, scheduled to take place at Bickland Park, will now be played on Saturday, February 16 after heavy rain caused its postponement.

The club’s game against Plymouth Parkway, originally scheduled for Saturday, December 22, will now take place on Saturday, April 20, and their away trip to Camelford which should have taken place on Saturday, December 29 will  now take place on Wednesday, April 17.

In division one west, Penryn Athletic’s home game against Perranporth, which was originally  scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 29, will now take place on Saturday, April 27, and their clash against Callington, which was due to take place just before the holiday period on Saturday, December 22, will be played on Wednesday, April 17.

Porthleven’s Boxing Day derby against fierce local rivals Helston Athletic will now take place on Wednesday, April 24.

Helston Athletic’s crunch tie with title rivals Wadebridge, which was originally scheduled to take place on  Saturday, December 29, will now take place on Saturday, May 4.

Dates of some of the rescheduled games have caused concern among some fans, with games played on Wednesday, April 24 - including Porthleven’s derby date with Helston - falling on the same day as the UEFA Champion’s League semi-final, which will be televised.

There is also concern that should the bad weather cause yet more cancellations, clubs may be forced to play several games in  a short period of time towards the end of the season.
