Penryn Athletic secured a place in the quarter finals of the Cornwall Senior Cup with a comfortable victory over Jolly's Combination League leaders Illogan last night.

Ryn Chinn and Kayne Trevaskis were on target for the Borough, with player-manager Dale Band scoring from the penalty spot.

Penryn will play SWPL premier division Torpoint Athletic in the next round.

Meanwhile Helston Athletic are still waiting to learn who their opponents in the quarter finals will be after St Blazey's rescheduled third round tie was postponed for the second time due to a waterlogged pitch at Lux Park.

The game will now be played next Tuesday.
