It's been a rough day for a lot of sides. Bodmin crashed out of the FA Vase 1-0 at home against Gornal. Helston were knocked out of the Senior Cup by St Ives on penalties after drawing 1-1 over 90 minutes, and Porthleven slumped to a 5-2 home defeat at the hands of Dobwalls at Gala Parc.

Cruel on Town. They played well, and were the better side for large parts of the game. But Liverton took their chances, that's the bottom line.

Whipp's been excellent in midfield, as has Ross Pope. Shaughnesy's had an excellent first half, but he's been guilty of wanting a touch (or ten) too many ayt crucial moments when the easy ball was the better choice.

Today's big news is that Rob Wearne starts for Falmouth. The young striker is fully recovered from that horrific head injury suffered against Elburton Villa last year. Apparently Wearne will wear some sort of face protector.
