PENRYN ATHLETIC  7
FOXHOLE STARS  0

This was always going to be an easy win for Penryn - at least on paper - as fourth placed Penryn took on lowly Foxhole Stars, and so it proved to be.

Penryn took to the field with their sixth change of personnel in goal in as many weeks, as the experienced Chris Symons took his place between the sticks, but he found himself with little to do over the course of 90 minutes.

As in most weeks Penryn proved themselves most dangerous during the opening exchanges, and with four minutes on the clock David Broglino saw his short corner touched in by Jason Roberts at the near post to put Penryn a goal up.

Five minutes later another Broglino corner was stabbed over the line by skipper Ben Oliver, followed by a superb long ball from wide on the right by player-manager Dale Band (pictured) straight into the path of Kayne Trevaskis, who rifled his shot low and hard past Shaun Hicks.

Foxhole tried to play their way back into the game, but lacked the class to trouble Penryn. David Broglino put Penryn 4-0 up with a deflected free kick from 25 yards out.

On the hour mark Borlgino once again punched a hole in the Foxhole dfence to race to the byline and cut the ball back for Roberts to hammer in off a defender.

After the break Greg Hobbs replace Ryan Chinn due to illness, before setting up Roberts for his hat trick to make it 6-0.

So in control were Penryn that they gave a run out to backup keepers Andrew Lilley and Chris Page - both in outfield positions. Oliver eventually drove in Penryn's seventh from a Broglino corner, but by then the game had turned into more of a training exercise.
