Helston Athletic kept up the pressure on league leaders Godolphin Atlantic with an 11-0 demolition job on struggling Holsworthy at Kellaway Parc.

Fierce rivals Godolphin remain 11 points clear after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Dobwalls, but the Blues have three games in hand, with matches against both Godolphin and third placed Wadebridge yet to come.

Meanwhile at Kernick Road Penryn looked to have squandered a two goal lead against St Dennis before a late Matt Roberts strike secured the win.

Two goals in two minutes from Kayne Trevaskis and David Broglino saw Penryn coasting at half time, but St Dennis fought back with two second half goals before Roberts' poached finish three minutes from time kept up Penryn's excellent run of recent form.

Dale Band and Steve Jewell's side sit fourth, five points behind third placed Wadebridge and second placed Helston, who are level on points.

Saturday's Peninsula League division one west results in full were as follows:

Callington Town 5 - 1 Truro City
Godolphin Atlantic 1 - 0 Dobwalls
Hayle 4 - 0 Vospers Oak Villa
Helston Athletic 11 - 0 Holsworthy
Penryn Athletic 3 - 2 St Dennis
Sticker 1 - 0 Perranporth
Wadebridge Town
