Ollie Devoto has signed for the Pirates from Bath
Following the news earlier this week that hooker Will Tanner had signed for the club on a dual-registration agreement with Bath Rugby, the Cornish Pirates can today confirm that two more signatures have been similarly captured.
The players named are Bath-born Chris Cook, aged 21, who is a scrum-half, and 19 years old Ollie Devoto, who was born in Yeovil and is a utility back, playing mainly in the 10 or 15 shirt. Both players have represented England under 20s.
With reference to their latest signings, Cornish Pirates head coach Ian Davies said: “These are two great additions to the squad.
“Our relationship with Bath Rugby has grown stronger as the season as gone on and long may it continue.”
Cornish Pirates backs coach Harvey Biljon added:“Both Chris and Ollie have 1st XV experience at Bath so will obviously add to the competition for starting places leading into the business end of the season.”
