The sense of anticipation for Cornish Pirates rugby supporters is rising, as their team prepares to face the might of the 'Men from Munster' at the Mennaye Field on Sunday (ko 3pm).

This mouth-watering contest in the quarter-final of the British & Irish Cup will rekindle memories of the first time the two sides met each other back in May, 2010.

On that occasion it was the final played at Camborne, when present day Ireland squad members Simon Zebo, Peter O'Mahony, Dave Kilcoyne and Conor Murray all featured, and the Pirates thrillingly won 23-14 to proudly become first ever winners of the trophy.

Munster, to provide extra interest this weekend, are the present holders.

Gavin Cattle, who led the Pirates to victory in 2010, makes a quick return to the side for Sunday's match, and Aaron Penberthy will be his half-back partner. Other changes in the backs sees Wes Davies selected at full-back, with Grant Pointer moving to the wing.

The full selection is as follows:-
