Falmouth Town will kick off their Carlsberg Peninsula League premier division season on Saturday, August 10 at home to last season's runners up Plymouth Parkway.

The devon outfit may well have topped the list of teams Town managers Robbie Stephens and Les Gilbert wanted to avoid on the opening day, with Parkway once again expected to challenge for the league title having made some big-name signings during the summer.

And it doesn't let up for Falmouth. Three days later they entertain Newquay, now managed by former Town boss Alan Carey.

The following weekend sees the divison one west season get underway.

Last season's runners up and beaten Senior Cup finalists Helston Athletic kick off their 2013-14 campaign at home against Truro City Reserves. Penryn Athletic, themselves Senior Cup semi-finalists, make the trip to Callington Town, and Dennis Annear's Porthleven visit Hayle.
