Cornish cricketer Andrew Brenton slogged his way into the record books on Saturday after hitting an unbeaten 311 off just 40 overs for home club Luckett.
Self-employed builder Brenton hit 53 boundaries and 11 sixes as Luckett posted a total of 513 - also a record - in their Jolly's Cornwall League clash against Tideford.
His monster knock beats Penryn batsman Adrian Winnan's previous record of 300 not out, set in 2000 against Wendron.
